Ann married Air Force Sergeant Earl O. Key on 16 April 1965 in Alexandria, Virginia. She accompanied him to Zweibrucken AB, Germany, during a military tour (1967-1970), and then to Riverside, California, where they divorced.
She later married William A. Johnson on 2 May 1971 in Los Angeles, California. Bill worked in the music industry, was composer and arranger and an ASCAP member.
There were no children from the three latter marriages.

LAS VEGAS - Annie "Ann" Ruth Sharpe Johnson, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, in Las Vegas.
The body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Imani Cathedral in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 1, 1932, to Caleb A. Sharpe and Missouri Kesler Sharpe.
Surviving are a son, Ronnie F. Lashmit of Lexington; one grandchild; a brother, C. A. Sharpe Jr. of Churchland; and a sister, Carolyn McCarn of Lexington.
