Age 70, went to be with her Saviour on Wednesday, May 22, 1996 at the home of her son. She was born November 16, 1925 in Marinette. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Alma Behnke. She married Laurent Behnke on April 24, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1993. Survivors include five children: Dennis (Marge) Behnke, Neenah; Warren (Kathy) Behnke, : Appleton; Dale (Karen) Behnke, ; Brillion; Jeanne Mader, Appleton; Kevin (Debbie) Behnke, Newton, Wisconsin; a daughter-in-law, Pam Behnke, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, ; three step-grandchildren, four sisters: Lucille (Eugene) Buss, Peshtigo; Bernice (Eugene) Fischer, Manitowoc; Lorraine (Jim) Beaudoin, Marinette; Donna (Don) Schwartz, Crivitz. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and two brothers. She had been a faithful member and servant for Evangel Deaf Chapel for many years. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 1996 at First Assembly of God, 311 West Evergreen Drive, Appleton with the Rev. Ed Clark officiating. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home Thursday (TODAY) from 4 until 8 and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be remembered for her warm smile.
