She was one of seven children: Doris (Laurent) Behnke, Lucille (Eugene) Buss, twins Orville and Bernice (Eugene) Fischer, Earl (Elvina) Behnke and Donna (Don) Schwartz
She lived in the area her entire life. She worked at Signal Electric when she met the love of her life, James Fredrick Beaudoin. They were married on October 27th 1956, when she then became a homemaker. They were married 42 years until the good Lord called James home. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
They were blessed with 6 children: Jeff, Steve, Gail (Dave) Alfonsi, Ron (Karen) Beaudoin, Kris (Tom) Retlick and Chad (Andrea Antonson) Beaudoin;
10 grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Kayla, Steven, Cheryl, Ashley, Tyler, Alissa, Breanna, Keegan;
5 great- grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Lorraine was an amazing baker. She was known for her cinnamon rolls, apple slices and home made candy. She loved to sew, paint, garden and tend to her birds.
She looked forward to her get togethers with the girls to play cards and dominos especially with her best friend Dottie (Carol) Clark.
Besides her parents and husband James, Lorraine was preceded in death by her daughter Gail Marie (Mrs. David) Alfonsi of Sheboygan, WI;
and all of her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Saturday October 15th, 2022 at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the service following at 1 p.m.
