Mr Billy Rabon, 79, of Goose Creek, South Carolina joined his wife Aline T Rabon on the evening of October 30, 2016.
Mr Rabon is survived by two sons, Robert Keith Rabon of Walterboro, and William Matthew Rabon of Goose Creek. Mr Rabon had 7 grandchildren Robbie Rabon, Matt Rabon, AJ Rabon, Timmy Rabon, Paul Rabon, Patrick Rabon and Danielle Croxton. Mr Rabon had 9 great grandchildren and they were the twinkle in his eyes. All of his grandchildren called him PePa, which eventually had everyone calling him PePa.
Mr.Rabon is survived by two brothers Kenneth Rabon (Reba) of Conway and Charlie Rabon (Linda) of Lexington, and a sister, Betty Rose Hardwick of Conway, Two sister in-laws Margaret Rabon and Lila Rabon both of Aynor along with many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rabon was predeceased by his parents Mose A and Mattie Carroll Rabon Martin, his stepfather Oscar Martin, two brothers Grady Rabon and Earl Rabon along with one sister Mary Ellen Rabon Allsbrook.
Mr. Rabon was born and raised in Aynor, South Carolina. He moved to Charleston around age 23 where he met his wife Aline T Rabon. He worked for Woodstock then moved onto auto paint and body at various dealerships throughout Charleston for 25 years before he retired at Jones Ford.
He loved to play blue grass music on his guitar and banjo. His grandchildren along with great grandchildren were his pride and joy. For those that knew him knew that he never met a stranger and loved telling stories and jokes. PePa also loved to go fishing and hunting when he was able to. The family would like to acknowledge Patrick and AJ for doing what needed to be done and never asking why.
