Connie was born in Danville, on August 16, 1948, the daughter of Lyle Victor and Florence (Dare) Eickelman. On November 24, 1967 Connie married the love of her life, Earnest Harris and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2016.
Surviving are one son, Eric (Dianne) Harris; one daughter, Tamala (Tim) Hinote; four grandchildren, Rachel (Justin) Davis, Kaitlyn (Jakub Puchalski) Harris, Alexis Harris and Matthew Harris and two great-grandchildren.
Connie was also preceded in death by her parents.
Connie was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved playing cards with her grandkids and taking them out to eat at local restaurants. One of her favorites was Jocko’s, so the grandkids could watch the trains go around the tracks. Connie also enjoyed working on word search puzzles in her free time.
