Ronnie “R.B.” Brown, age 64, a resident of Longville, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his residence. R.B. was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing and he also enjoyed crafting with wood. His grandchildren were his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Sasson Brown Mitchell of North Dinwiddie, Virginia and Luke Brown and wife, Ashley of Longville, Louisiana, grandchildren, Patience Lawson, Abby Brown and Elizabeth Brown and one brother, Allen Brown, Sr. of West Helena, Arkansas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry K. Brown, Jr. and Alice Lawrence Brown, sisters, Missy Lynch and Lillian “BooBoo” Rhodes.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5 – 9:00 P.M. and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 beginning at 10:00 A.M. The visitation and funeral will be at Riley Smith Funeral Home, DeQuincy, Louisiana with Interment to follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana.
