Born in Barberton, Ohio, she resided in Mo bile, Ala. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
She is survived by her husband, John of Mobile, Ala.; sons, John (Betty) of Medina, Tom (Diane) of Danville, Calif., Jim (Laura) of Melbourne, Australia; daughter, Kathleen of Mobile; sister, Eileen Heller of Maryland; grandchildren, John, Suzanne, Anne, Greg, Chase, and Shelby.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
