Nick Angle, 83, of Lake Seminole, GA, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Trawick and Rev. Tammy Fincannon officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

Nicholas Richard Angle was born September 20, 1933 in Welch Run, Pennsylvania the son of John Donald Angle and Nannie Hothlick Hill Angle. He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Class of 1951, and a member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church. Nick retired as owner of TriState Office Products in 1995.

Nick had quite a competitive spirit. He would tackle everything with an “all or none” attitude. He enjoyed golfing, softball and fishing. He also spent many hours in his woodworking shop and was known for being a talented carpenter. Nick helped lay the foundation for the new Reynolds Chapel building where he also served as President of the United Methodist Men. “Miss” Vonnie put his skills to the test after retirement by having him build their home.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Vonnie Sollenberger Angle; his sons Mike Angle and his wife, Brenda, of Macon, GA and Pat Angle and his wife, Shannon, of Climax, GA; his siblings, Bonnie Heckman of Chambersburg, PA and Max Angle of Waynesboro, PA; and his grandchildren, Anna C. Lillard and her husband, Matthew, of Charleston, SC, Ellie A. Preston and her husband, Jordon, of Stamford, CT and Aidan Angle of Climax, GA. Nick was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Skipper.
