From message by Larry Blackman who the book, Willcott, Kay, Timberlake, and Allied Families:
"In time, Pleasant Timberlake married, probably second, Hannah Sayre, widow of Ezekiel Sayre. They were enumerated in the 1840 census of Jackson County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Unfortunately, Pleasant was murdered and 'put down into a well.' Hannah was pregnant when her husband disappeared. In 1842, the child was born , and she called him Hiram Sayre, instead of Timberlake, 'because Sayre was the name of her other kids by Ezekiel.'"
Hiram Sayre may be the only child of Hannah and Pleasant Timberlake.
