Life's Work/Service/Interests: Janene eventually relocated to Salt Lake City and married at the age of 26. She was blessed with two daughters and a stepdaughter. Janene cared deeply for her family. She loved her girls more than anything and her grandchildren were the light in her life. An active member of the LDS Church, she considered her callings to work with the Primary and Young Women, a great blessing. Janene was an optimist and a survivor. She had an open mind and tender heart. She could never see a person or animal in pain without trying to help. Her genuine nature and bright spirit made the people who knew her, love her fiercely. She had an eye for finding beauty which she used in photography and interior design. Her favorite thing to photograph was her grandchildren. She also loved to travel; one of her favorite destinations was Makena Beach on Maui, Hawaii. Janene Abegg passed away in Provo, Utah, surrounded by family on Sunday, November 13, 2016, after succumbing to her battle with pancreatic cancer. She was nearly 58 years old.
Survived By: Her mother, Joan; her daughters: Janene (Thomas), Brittany (Colton); step-daughter, Olivia (Matthew); grandchildren: Jeremy, Elizabeth, Keith, Matthew, Nathan and Baeleon; her sisters: Cheryl (Russell) and Shelley; as well as her brother, Robb.
