High requiem mass was celebrated for Mrs Herbert Claude at St Patrick's Church yesterday morning…Father William T Russell, after which he pronounced the blessing and preached a short discourse, touching on the lovable character of the deceased.
… Requiem mass of Gregorian chant was rendered by the choir of St Patrick's Church, of which Mrs Claude was at one time a member, with Prof Armand Gumprecht presiding at the altar.
Interment was at Mount Olivet.
