Catherine Price, Scranton, died Friday at Abington Manor. She was the widow of Clarence Price, who died Dec. 22, 1975.

Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., daughter of the late Nicholas and Alexandria Otkala Swaha, she was a member of Embury United Methodist Church and attended North Scranton Junior High School. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Embury Women's Society and the Florence Evans Bible study. Catherine was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed.

Surviving are two sons, Robert and wife, Marlene, Jefferson Twp.; and David, Scranton; a brother, Frank Swaha, Scranton; two sisters, Stella Owens and Eleanor Hollingsworth, both of Scranton; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Richie and Harry Price; four brothers, Michael, Alex, Freddie and Nicholas Swaha; and two sisters, Rosie Pozniak and Olga Prenzna.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Embury United Methodist Church, with services by Pastor Doug Posegate. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery.
