Edward F. Buckler, 79, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday in Naples, Fla. He was a native of Lebanon and a retired employee of Container Corp. of America in Chicago. Survivors: his wife, the former Pattie Rolfs; a son, Edward F. Buckler of Naples, two daughters, Sandy Brusa of Placentia, Calif., and Pat Whittaker of Denver; three stepsons, Michael, Mark and David Manning, all of Chicago; two brothers, Virgil Buckler of Indianapolis and Joseph Buckler; a sister, Ernestine Cassidy; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Naples. The body was cremated. Arrangements: Beechwood Society. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, Fla. 33999.
