William Anthony Buckler, 84, died Monday at Christopher East Nursing Home. He was a native of Marion County, a retired employee of First National Bank and a former employee of Farmer's Nation Bank in Lebanon. He was a member of Bishop Spalding Council of Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Orphan Society, Catholic Orphan Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors: his wife, the former Henrietta Cassidy; a sister, Ernestine B. Cassidy; and three brothers, C. Virgil Buckler of Indianapolis, Edward F. Buckler of Wilmett, Ill., and Joseph L. Buckler. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy: Rosary on the Air or Mass of the Air. Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, is in charge of arrangements.
