She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Page, parents, Clyde and Nancy Dailey, grandparents, James and Lucille Alderson, Albert and Annie Dailey.
During her employment at Henderson Community College from 1986 to 2010, she received an Associate's Degree in Office Administration. Jenny was the Administrative Assistant (DIVA) with the Social Science Division.
She was an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Smith Mills since 1972. She taught, VBS, Sunday School, and ran the Upward Basketball Program. Her hobbies were playing the piano, genealogy, scrapbooking, and reading. However, the most enjoyable was spending time with her grandkids whether it was watching them play sports, or just running around the yard having fun and laughing.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Joe Bean of Oakland City, Indiana; Jason Bean of Lexington, Kentucky; Julie Bean Whitledge of Evansville, Indiana; and Jessica Page Arnett of Smith Mills, Kentucky; a sister, Brenda Overfield of Charlestown,Indiana.
Jenny has 13 grandchildren Tyler, Sam, Jay, Gabe, Trey, Colleen, Ruthy, Camrin, Carsyn, Caroline, Madlynn, Sierra, Shailyn and Matthew and two great-grandchildren, Kynleigh and Gunner. Many times some of those grandchildren have lived with her; some for a long time and others only briefly.
After a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, Jenny's date of expiration (as Colleen asked her one-day "Mamaw what is your expiration date?") was November 20, 2016 at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center .
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Larry Rone will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
