Freda Isabel Odegard
Obituary
ODEGARD Freda Isabel (nee Balo), age 97, of Greenhills, OH died on August 10, 2007. Freda was born on the family farm in Muskingum County, Ohio. She was a 1931 graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Social Work. Freda worked in public welfare in Hamilton County during the depression and the 1937 flood. She was a member of the Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian, for over 55 years.
Surviving Freda are her son, Paul (Mary Ann) Odegard of Greenhills and daughter Janet Odegard (William) Meyer, of
Stevens Point, Wisconsin, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian on September 15, 2007 at 7 P.M. Her body has been donated to UC's Anatomy Dept. for medical research.
Memorials may be made to her church at 21 Cromwell Rd, Greenhills OH 45218.
