Gardner - Rosanna (Poirier) Cormier, 90 formerly of 54 Lincoln St. a retired stitcher, died last night in Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing after an illness.
Her husband, Francois J. Cormier died in 1992. She leaves a son, Louis J. of Livonia Michigan,
two daughters, Bernice J. Beaulieu of Gardner and MArguerite N. Collettee of St. Paul, New Brunswick;
a sister Dorina P. Dwyer of Gardner, eight granchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Boutouche, New Brunswick, daughter of Fidele and Marguerite(Daigle) Poirier,
and lived in Gardner most of her life.
Mrs. Cormier, was a stitcher, last working at Modern Contract Manufacturing Co., where she worked
for several years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and
its Ladies of St. Anne Society.
The funeral will be held Thursday from Dufault-Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols St. with a Mass at
9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Holy Rosary, 135 Nichols St. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetary.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Holy Roasary Church Renovation Fund.
