Alice (Nutter) Donovan, 91, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Timothy J. Donovan, died Sunday (June 18, 2006) at New Britain Hospital For Special Care.
She was born in England and was formerly of Florida and also lived in Wethersfield many years.
Alice was a registered nurse and a proud graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Bridgeport.
She is survived by a son and daughter, John J. Donovan Sr. of Wethersfield and Geraldine D. Lyon of Vernon; two sisters, Winifred McMullen of Groton and Agnes Daniels of Glastonbury; three grandchildren John J. Donovan, Jr., Eileen D. Montross and her husband Christopher Montross and Kevin M. Donovan and his wife Sara-Beth Donovan; two great grandchildren, Lauren E. Hunter and Jacob D. Montross.
There will be a Memorial Mass, TODAY, June 23, 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church on Friday.
