Mrs. Nierenberger, 79, 2826 24th Ave., died at St. Catherine's Hospital Tuesday evening following a long illness.

Mrs. Nierenberger was born in Russia, Oct. 16, 1883 a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Karl. She spent her early life in Russia.

She married Peter Nierenberger in 1901 and he preceded her in death Oct. 28, 1944.

In 1910, the couple moved to Argentina, where they resided until 1913 when they came to the United States. They cam to Kenosha to make their home in 1934. Mrs. Nierenberger was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and the Holy Rosary
Society.

She is survived by six sons, Michael of Olivet, Mich., Mathew of Charlotte, Mich., George of Racine, and Joseph, Adam and John, all of Kenosha. She is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Casper (Catherine) Paul, Mrs. Gerald (Anne) Aplin and Mrs. David (Helen) Bernhardt, all of Kenosha. She is further survived by 32 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary, Jan. 24, 1953.
