Karen Crisp Yates, 64, of Magnolia, AR, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR.
Karen was born on Saturday, August 16, 1952 in Magnolia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved to read, was a wonderful cook, and animal lover.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Hamilton Duncan and Norma Jean (Welch) Crisp.
She is survived by her daughter Kerry McLendon and husband Brad of El Dorado, AR; son Curt Yates and wife Kaycee of Emerson, AR; grandchildren, Jordan Kerriann Gilbert of El Dorado, AR, who is expecting the first great grandchild in January, Jaycee Belle McLendon of El Dorado, AR, Caden and Cash Yates both of Emerson, AR; brothers, Johnny Crisp of Anchorage, AK and Mike Crisp of Magnolia, AR; sister Kathy Langheld and husband Howard of Magnolia, AR; and her four legged friend Bella.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Magnolia City Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia, AR.
