Martha was a daughter of Loyola and Caroline (Hughes) Ramsey. She married Jeremiah M. Waller. Children of "Jerry" and Martha included Sarah Ann, Mary E. and Alice. In 1870 Jeremiah and Martha lived with their extended family in Point Township where he farmed. A decade later Martha was a widow who lived with family in the Mt. Vernon home of her mother. In 1900 Martha lived alone on Second Street and worked as a servant. She died of heart disease. Son-in-law David Spottsville was the informant for her certificate of death.
