Mrs. Rosa Kohlbeck, age 101, who lived with her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Marie Kohlbeck at 912 Tower Ave., Kellnersville, died Wednesday morning, March 3, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic church, Whitelaw. Rev. Richard H. Heymen will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The former Rosa Lensmire was born October 4, 1891 in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late Matt and Kathryn Tenor Lensmire. She attended St. Joseph Parochial Grade School in Kellnersville. She was married on September 14, 1915 to George Kolhbeck Sr., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The couple farmed in the Town of Franklin all their married life. He preceded her in death March 23, 1985. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw.
Survivors include five sons and seven daughters-in-law, Abdon and Gertrude Kohlbeck, Whitelaw, Grace Kohlbeck, Whitelaw, Dorothy Kohlbeck, Manitowoc, Cy and Carole Kohlbeck, Green Bay, Herbert and Marie Kohlbeck, Reifs Mills, Kenneth and Marie Kohlbeck, Hellnersville, Gordon and Verna Mae Kohlbeck, Whitelaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Monica and William Giegel, Manitiwoc; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Daniel Lensmire, Whitelaw, Quirin and Thelma Lensmire, Manitowoc, Emily Lensmire, Luxemburg, Pauline Lensmire, Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by three sons, Roger, George Jr., and Emanuel; one sister and five brothers.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home on Friday from 4-9 p.m. Father Heymen will pray the rosary at 7 p.m.
