He is son of Amos and Joanna (Hammond) Parsons. husband of Abigail Parker.
Amos served Massachusetts during the American Revolution.
served in Captain Jonathan Carriel's company, Colonel Josiah Whitney's Regiment
a private in Captain Jesse Stone's Company, Colonel Job Cushing's Regiment
mustering with Thomas Newhall-Muster Master of Worcester County in Captain Brown's Company, colonel Bigelow's Regiment. Amos along with other men raised from Colonel Denny's Regiment for service at Rhode Island, with Captain Starr's Company, a Private Amos Parsons in a detachment from Captain Daniel Grout's Company, commanded by Lieutenant Thomas Parker, in Colonel John Rand's Regiment, enlisting July 24, 1780, at West Point, New York
Amos is my ggggg grandfather.
