Mrs. Alice Sauerwald Bupp, widow of Norman Bupp, died Thursday, May 25, 1961, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mummert. Mrs. Bupp was in ill health for the past year and a half and died at the age of 68-8-6. Her husband died Aug. 3 1959. Mrs. Bupp was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hametown. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Paul H. Grothey, Mrs. Mummert and Randall Bupp; 16 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Sporlein. Funeral services were held from the Geiple Funeral Home Saturday afternoon, May 27, with your pastor (Rev. M. L. Kroh)conducting the services. Interment was made in the Hametown Cemetery.
