LAFAYETTE, AL -- Melvin Fennie, 78, of LaFayette died Thursday, June 2, 1994, at his residence.
Mr. Fennie was retired from West Point Pepperell and was a member of Leander Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 7, 1994 at 3 p.m. at Leander Baptist Church, Daviston, with Rev T. L. Schell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Hardnett of LaFayette; one son, Howard L. Fennie of Wadley; one sister, Mrs. Katie Lane of Anniston; and one brother, Neely Fennie of Alexander City.
Vines Funeral Home of LaFayette was in charge of arrangements.
