He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Paul was a Machinist at Ingersoll Rand for 27 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of Advent Moravian Church, and Sunny Seniors of Phillipsburg, NJ.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by a step-son Rev. Larry Wetzel and wife Janet of Sun City, AZ; a sister Elsie Pritchard of Phillipsburg, NJ; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a step-son Thomas Wetzel; sisters Helen Wolfe, Catherine Hartman; brothers Edward, Wilard, and Russell Hamlin.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
