Mrs. Hannett lived most of her life in Syracuse. She was a graduate of Marcellus High School and the Cortland Normal School.
Mrs. Hannett had been a teacher in Jordan and Long Island. She had also worked for the Syracuse City Commissioner of Finance for several years. She was an election inspector in her ward.
Surviving are a son, William J. Hannett of Jamesville; a daughter, Georgia Zughaib of Jamesville; a brother, Harris H. Walker of Ronkonkoma; a sister, Ruth Walker Harvey of Marcellus, and five grandchildren.
