Kathy Minton, age 71 of London, KY, wife of James Minton, passed away on Wednesday, December 28 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Along with her loving husband of 51 years, she leaves behind two children, Jeffrey Jay Minton and Angie Renea Minton Taylor, both of London, KY; four siblings, Arthur Gilbert of Ohio, Dorlis Kurpis of Lake Station, IN, Pauline Tevis Gilbert of London, KY, Danny Gilbert of Valparaiso, IN; six grandchildren, Jessica Renea Minton Hillard and husband Danny, Breanna Taylor, Jonathon Minton, Sydney Taylor, Erika Guerrero, Braydon Phillippe; one great-granddaughter, Braylee Ann Renea Hillard, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix & Pauline Gilbert and four siblings, James Earl Gilbert, Arnold Gilbert, Elizabeth Roberts and Mary Angeline Wagers.
She was a retail salesperson and member of Blackwater Baptist Church. She was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Kathy Minton will be conducted on Saturday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Columbus Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery.
