Mrs. Louisa Frederika Ahlers, a pioneer resident of Newton, died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Carstens yesterday, death being due to old age.
Deceased was born in Germany in 1836 and came to this country about fifty years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carstens and Mrs. Burkhard. The funeral will be held from the Newton Lutheran church Monday afternoon.
