Mrs. August Haupt, 75, who had been residing with a daughter, Mrs.
Edward Krueger of route 3, Manitowoc, died Sunday at the Holy Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church, Newtonburg, with burial in the church cemetery.
Born Bertha Vogt in Newton in 1873, she was married to Mr. Haupt in
1894 and they located on a farm in Newton. Mr. Haupt died last Dec.
31.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Krueger of route 3, Manitowoc; seven
sons, Leland and Milton of Manitowoc Rapids, Siegfried, Erhardt,
Hilbert and Allen of Newton and Myron of Centerville; two brothers,
Herman of Newton and John of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Ervin
Klemme of Newton and Mrs. William Schuetze of this city; 25 grand-
children and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Wilbert
Busse of Newton, died five years ago.
The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home after Tuesday noon, and will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday to lie in state until the hour of services.
