Alpheus Boling, 81 years old, of Reeb Station, died Sunday morning at his home.
For many years he was engaged in the contracting business and built many of the steam and electric railroads in this part of Illinois.
He was born in Belmont, O.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. John B. Vogt.
The funeral will take place Tuesday morning and the body will be buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
