He was born October 11, 1929 at Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Clarence Sr. and Florenc Washington Patterson. He was School Bus mechanic for District 14, Commerce City Colorado, and owner of P. and J. Restaurant. Moving to Larned in 1996 from Commerce City, Colorado
He was a member of Escue Chapel CME, Larned, Mason, Just US Club, Couples Club, all of Denver. He also served in the Army.
On August 1, 1954 he married Johnetta Caro at Denver Colorado, she survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jeffrey Lane Patterson, Larned; Patrick Arthur Patterson, Denver, Colorado; one brother Honorable Robert Beau Patterson, Hilton Head SC.; two sisters Shirley Caro Larned, Vera Taylor, Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by three sisters Betty Jean Patterson, Anna Gough, and Beverly Caro.
Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with the Rev. Anthony Hill presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned City Cemetery.
