He is buried next to his parents and a brother who lived to old age and near his grandparents.
This gravestone was included in the 1993 survey including in "Fauquier County (Virginia) Tombstone Inscriptions, Vol. 2," but was not included by "Hope" who posted most of the gravestones in this family cemetery in 2006. It was returned to the cemetery 2016 after it was found among the possessions of a 92 year old woman in Alexandria, VA who died in 2009. Some time between 1993 and 2006, then, the stone was removed.
Interestingly, another gravestone from this cemetery that was here in 1993 but gone in 2006 has also turned up in Alexandria. This is being investigated. It will be returned.
