Leona married Clinton Charles Adams on January 23, 1951 in Wise County, Va. After Clinton's death she married Vernon Berkley Forrest in 1970 in Pasquotank County, NC.

Leona Forrest (Dec. 28, 1932 - Jan. 2, 2017) Leona Webb Adams Forrest, a former resident of Gloucester, VA for 43 years passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA. Born in Belvia, KY on Dec 28, 1932, she was the youngest of seven children born to the late Moses and Lillie Craft Webb. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, canning and flowers. She made many afghans, doilies, quilts, and small crafts with love for her family over the years. She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards. She was a wonderful cook and her rolls were delicious. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clinton Adams and her second husband, Vernon B. Forrest; brothers Arlie and Denver Webb, and Freddy Maggard; sisters, Clara Ratliff, Minnie Cook, Loretta Webb, and Della Kincer; half-brothers, Kenneth, Lynford, John D. and Joseph Webb; and half-sisters Janie Webb and Edna Polly. Survivors include three sons, Michael and Kathy Adams, W. Gene and Victoria Adams and Donald J. and Neva Adams, all of Newport News; four granddaughters, Aimee and Troy Faison, Laura Adams, Karen Tutone and Rachel and Jonathan Compton; four grandsons, Jonathan Adams and Sara Garcia-Smythe, Clinton and Christine Adams, David Adams, and Anthony and Baillie Adams; and thirteen ggrandchildren, Nathan and Lindsey Faison Nicole and Cody Burke, Nicholas Faison, Natalie Faison, Brennan Adams, Brooke Zimmerman, Nathaniel, Caleb and Carter Adams, Abrielle, Mia, Ariana and Isaiah Tutone, plus two greatgrands on the way. A celebration of Leona's life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at Petsworth Baptist Church, 2471 Hickory Fork Rd, Gloucester. Rev. John Pouchot will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Petsworth church cemetery. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
