Services for A. Percy Foss,
86, a pioneer resident of Al-
pine, who died Saturday in a
rest home, will be at 2 p.m.
today in Alpine Community
Church, of which he was the
last living charter member.
Interment will be in Alpine
Cemetery.
Born at Reading, Mass.,
Foss lived at Alpine 80 years.
A farmer, he homesteaded at
South Grade Road and Foss
Road. Alpine's first school
was at his home. Foss was
a member of the Alpine
church 65 years.
Two brothers, Joseph of Al-
pine and Robert of Escondido,
survive. Erickson - Anderson
Mortuary is in charge.
