Helen was born in Pike Township, Madison County, the daughter of J. F. "Frank" Rausch and his wife Magdalena "Lena" Troesch Rausch. She married first, Joe W. Bishop, September 25, 1932 in Union County. On September 3, 1950 she married Edgar Lowry, in Marysville. It was the second marriage for both.
