A Franklin County native, he was born July 2, 1897 to the late Doc and Mollie Bolden Conn. He was a retired nurseryman and a member of the Methodist Church.
Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 8, at Moore-Cortner Chapel in Winchester. John Partin, Jr., officiated. Burial was at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Haskell Conn and Wayne Conn, both of Winchester; three daughters, Edna Holliday and Katherine Tidwell, both of Winchester, and Christine Sido of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, E.M. Conn of Chicago, Ill.; 33 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
