SUNRAY - Funeral services for Ernest V. Snook, 70, a Sunray resident for 19 years, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday from the Church of Christ, with L.L. Thornton, minister, officiating.
Mr. Snook was a retired employe of Shamrock Oil and Gas Corp. He died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Dumas Memorial Hospital. He was born in Perkins, Okla.
Surviving are his wife, Ada; three sons, Luther and Otto of Dumas, and Harold of Ponca City, Okla.; five daughters, Mrs. Alma Trower ot Bentonville, Ark., Mrs. Audrey White of Oklahoma, Mrs. Freda Moore of Stinnett, Mrs. Violet Caudle of Augusta, Kans., Mrs. Bobbie Dupree of Monroe, La.; one brother, one sister, 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery in Dumas, under the direction of Boxwells of Dumas.
