Pamilla Sue Leigh, of Waterport, passed away at her home on January 23, 2017.

Mrs. Leigh was born in Albion, June 14, 1941, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Covell) Hey. A graduate of Lyndonville High School, class of 1959, she attended Alfred University and Rochester Business Institute. She married John H. Leigh on March 10, 1962 at the Pullman Universalist Church. She was employed as a secretary by FMC and Cormed, Inc.

Mrs. Leigh was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Young Women Service Club and enjoyed boating and hunting.

Survivors include two children, Jennifer (Shawn) Majors and John Jerald Leigh; son-in-law, Jimmy Zielonko; 5 grandchildren, Ashleigh (John) Deskins, Lynzy Zielonko, Matthew (Tamara) Zielonko, Brandi (Anthony) Nichols and Jeffrey Leigh; 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Grace Nichols; her sister, Lysbeth “Betsy” Hoffman and her niece, Sandra (Eric) Hellwig. She was predeceased by her husband, John, on Dec. 10, 2004.

Friends may call on Thursday (2-4, 7-9) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM. The Rev. Jack D. Richardson will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
