Betty Virginia Banks Bennett has departed this life to embrace eternity in the home of Jesus Christ, her LORD and Saviour. She was born in Louisiana to Ida and Charles Banks on March 10, 1930. She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Betty Became the wife of Max L Bennett on Sep. 7, 1947 and remained faithful to this union to the end of her days.
They became the parents of, and are survived by two children: Bruce Allen Bennett and Linda Joyce Arsenault, both of St. Augustine. She leaves behind grandchildren: Brian Keith Arsenault, Travis Bennett, Kimberly Bennett, and great grand-son Donavin Arsenault. She also leaves one niece who lives as her sister: Fredna Lee Banks of East Palatka, and one niece who lives as her adopted daughter: Bettysue Anna Banks Bush. Betty was a wife and mother wholly devoted to the well being of those she loved and she will be greatly missed.
