Edna was 18 when she married a physician named John Christian Bullitt. He was 39 and had just been on trial in Media PA with his sanity in question. A newspaper headline read, "Wedding Closely Follows Verdict" and "Dr. J. C. Bullitt, Millionaire, Marries Poor Girl." In the 1920 census they reported living in Radnor PA and shortly after he died in 1925. she married a widowed civil engineer who was an assistant engineer on the Panama Canal, Frank Browne. Together they raised two children. Death certificates have not been located for either of them.
