Andrew "Mitch" Harcharik, 77, Streator, died at 7 p.m. yesterday (March 19, 1988) at his home after a brief Illness. His funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Church, Streator. Burial will be In the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Solon Funeral Home, Streator, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mr. Harcharik was born Aug. 3, 1910, In Streator, a son of Andrew and Mary Palaschak Harcharik. He married Reglna Averweg June 1, 1938, In Streator. She survives.
Other survivors include three ' daughters, Barbara Blakemore and Linda Araujo, both of Streator, and Mary Harcharik, Reston, Va.; two sons, David, Herndon, Va., and John, Cottage Grove, Ore.; a brother, Louis, Streator; seven grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
One sister and two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Harcharik retired from Commonwealth Edison in 1976. He was a member of St Anthony Catholic Church and the Lazy Acres Sportsmen's Club.
