Elizabeth "Liza" (Hudgins) Davis, 72, of Troy died March 10, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at White & Mahon Funeral Home chapel in Troy, with the Revs. Terry Council and Jerry Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Friends may call at the chapel 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be William Stegall, Harold Dunivant, Chad Dunivant, Brad Dunivant, Keith Hudgins and Jeff Hudgins.

She was born May 15, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charlie and Pearl (Tanner) Hudgins. She married Judge Davis April 2, 1950. He died Dec. 26, 1972. She was a retired waitress and had been an employee of the former Lear-Siegler plant in Union City and of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Troy.

Survivors include two stepsons, Jerry Davis of Rogers, Ark., and Jackie Davis of Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces, Tina Dauer of St. Louis and Helen Storey of Troy; and three nephews, Dennis Hudgins, Keith Hudgins and Jeff Hudgins, all of Trimble.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ray Hudgins.
