Cory E. Abbington, 67, of 1020 W. Hurlburt St., died yesterday at Methodist Medical Center.
Born in Clarksville, Mo., March 6, 1912, he was a son of George N. and Corrine Aytson Abbington, he married Vinita Draper of St. Louis on Jan. 27, 1949 in Peoria.
He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 34 years.
Surviving are his wife; foster mother, Mrs. Virginia Pearle of Quincy; one God son, Luke Brown Jr. of Peoria. He was preceded in death by one sister.
