Annabelle M. (Adams) Adrian, age 87, of Potosi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was born on September 28, 1929, in rural Potosi, the daughter of John and Esther (Pitzen) Adams. On April 11, 1950, Annabelle married Donald Adrian. She spent the majority of her life working on the farm with her husband and raising her family. Annabelle was a loving person who put others first before herself. She devoted many years to taking care of her husband when he was ill. Annabelle enjoyed taking a lot of pictures, collecting cookbooks and reading. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Annabelle liked getting out, going for rides in the country and visiting her special neighbors. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster.
Survivors include her children: Dennis Adrian, Potosi; Diane (Mark) Muldoon, Lancaster; Bruce (Carol) Adrian, Potosi; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her brother, Gary (Sandra) Adams, Cassville; other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her brothers: Donnie, Johnny and nephews: Steve Adams and Steve Adrian and a niece, Joyce Adrian.
In keeping with Annabelle's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held. Burial will be in St. Clement Cemetery, Lancaster. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is serving the family.
