Brent passed away at his home. After graduating from Blackfoot High School, he served in the Marine Corps. On August 15, 1958, he married Patti in Blackfoot. They had three daughters. Brent worked in law enforcement, at the Department of Energy, and with Lockheed Martin. His strong faith led him to fellowship at First Baptist Church and later Watersprings. He led a life of volunteer service for many organizations including the City of Shelley, Citizen Patrol, and Arbor Day. He was awarded Shelley’s Citizen of the Year in 2009. Above all else, he had a deep and abiding love for his family. Brent was an avid artist, passionate about golfing, fishing, camping, hunting, photography, woodworking, and service to others. His zest for life was undeniable. Brent was determined to stay connected to all of his grandkids and became a master texter, with a language all his own.

Survivors beside his wife PJ included: daughters Toni (Doug) Vandel of Saint Anthony and Kim (Mike) Smith of Evanston, WY; siblings Gayle (Phillip) Dance of Idaho Falls, Keith (Reva) Clark of Riverside and Margo (Ron) High of Federal Way, WA; abd 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceding were his daughter Wendy, grandchildren Ryan and Casey, and great grandson Dax. Memorial contributions made to Campus Crusade for Christ. Graveside services held February 17th with military rites performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team.
