Buried Jan 31 1952.

Fred W. Worst, 82, of 56 Wood Street, Rocky Grove, died suddenly at 9:30 pm Monday in the office of a Franklin physician where he had been taken after he was stricken at his home. He was born in Meadville March 25, 1869, son of Philip and Mary Belz Worst.

He had lived in the Franklin area more than 60 years, was a well known truck gardener, and highly regarded. He operated a garden and green house at his home for many years, and was going about his usual duties yesterday when he became ill. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a brother, Karl Worst of Franklin; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Conway of Franklin. His wife, former Ella Andre, died Sept. 5, 1944.

Services will be at Buchanan Funeral Home at 2 pm Thursday with Rev. R. N. Stumpf, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
