Aaron E. Kreutzer, 74, of Arma, Kansas died at 6:52 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Medicalodges of Frontenac.

Mr. Kreutzer was born January 25, 1943 at Hays, Kansas the son of Otto A. and Scholastica E. Gerstner Kreutzer.
Aaron was retired and lived in Crawford County most of his life and Arma since 2001. He was raised in Hays and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Hays in 1960.

He married Emma Jean Brackett on August 28, 1965. They later divorced. She preceded him in death.

He later married Patricia Rae Caruthers on May 2, 1992. She also preceded him in death.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, the Knights of Columbus in Girard/Arma in which he was a 4th Degree Knight, and Past President and member of the Sunflower Kiwanis in Pittsburg. He enjoyed playing pinochle and bingo with his fellow senior citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Taylor of Frontenac and Deann Schamerhorn and her husband Shaun of Pittsburg, a brother, Alan Kreutzer and his wife Joyce of Hays, Kansas, two grandsons, Christopher and Conner Taylor, and four stepchildren, Dianna Campbell and husband David, Marvin Williams and wife Ronda, Norman Williams and wife Kiok, and James Williams and wife Jennifer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, Kansas with Father Floyd McKinney as celebrant. The rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church and the family will receive friends from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the rosary. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hays, Kansas.

The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church at Arma, Kansas. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
