Mrs. Blanche Taylor Hicks, age 82 of Dalton departed this life on Thursday, September 14, 2006.
She was a very dedicated volunteer at Hamilton Medical Center for 25 years and the best mom in the world.
Blanche is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brendann and Bobby Jordan of Gainesville; "special" daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Kay and Russell Elrod of Gainesville.
Special friends to the end, Ina Mae Elrod of Gainesville; grandchildren, Dwayne Eddie Jordan, Suzanne Jordan Brock and Tracey Jo Forrester.
Great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Rambo Jordan, Kayla Jordan Forrester, Kristina Hope Forrester, Danielle Jordan Brock and Daniel Lydon Brock.
Brother, Frank Taylor of Florida; nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services and burial were on Friday at West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating, her beloved longtime pastor.
Love Funeral Home of Dalton were in charge of the arrangements.
