Aldo Braido, 91, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Moravian Village in Bethlehem. Born December 12, 1925 he was the son of the late Augusta (Moretti) and Anthony Braido. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jeanne (Kuhns) Braido and second wife Susan (Hunter) Braido.

Aldo retired as the president of General Supply Company in Bethlehem, where he worked from 1956 to 1991. He previously worked with Duggan and Marcon. He was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School where he was also class president. He proudly served his country during WWII with the US Marine Corps in the Pacific Theatre. Aldo was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Easton Rotary, Green Pond Country Club and the Bethlehem American Legion Post 379. He was the past Chairman of Easton Building Material and Dealers Association and he was on the Board of the General Supply Company. Aldo was also a Paul Harris Fellow.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Braido and sisters, Theresa Pavan, Velma Pysher, Margaret Cascario, Lilly Piccerillo, Mary Braido, Ida Braido, Lena Rice and Eleanor Knapp.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 PM. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the funeral home from 12-1 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 1:30 PM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
